I’m a fairly self-disciplined person but I cannot even contain myself when these donuts come out of the oven. This is my ultimate dessert. Sure, I love chocolate desserts, fruit pies, and lemony this & that, but put a plate of sugar donuts in front of me, and you might as well say adios to my face for the day.
Ina Garten from The Barefood Contessa knows a thing or two about delicious baking and her sugar donuts are no exception. Simple recipe, downright delicious, and very professional looking.
She uses a donut pan but I don’t have one. And since buying one would be a very dangerous and reckless thing for me to do, I decided to use my mini muffin pan to make donut holes. Mmm oh mamma. Now we’re talking.
